Alerus adds Scott Ganje to lead consumer, small business banking

Alerus is pleased to announce Scott Ganje has joined the company as a senior vice president and director of consumer and small business banking. In this role, Ganje will oversee retail banking and mortgage services across Alerus’ footprint, which includes 29 banking and wealth offices, with locations in Grand Forks and Fargo, North Dakota, the Twin Cities metro, Rochester and southern Minnesota, Marshalltown, Iowa, Pewaukee, Wisconsin, and Phoenix and Scottsdale, Arizona. He will be based in Minnetonka, Minnesota.

Ganje brings extensive experience to this newly created role. A proven team leader, he has nearly 30 years of experience in retail banking across North Dakota and Minnesota markets. He has served in a variety of roles in retail and finance management throughout his career, including branch manager, market manager, and district consumer manager. He most recently served as consumer/small business Twin Cities regional manager at Bremer Bank.

Ganje holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Minot State University.
