Alerus Promotes Seth Philbin to Lead New Mesa Location

MESA, Ariz. (May 21, 2018) – Financial services company Alerus announces it has promoted Seth Philbin to Relationship Manager Team Lead and is expanding its footprint to include a financial services location in Mesa, Arizona.

“Alerus entered the Scottsdale market in 2009 and has grown to include a team of 15 professionals who provide a full range of business and personal financial services for clients throughout the Phoenix area,” said Rob Schwister, Alerus market president for the Phoenix metro. “Seth has been with us from the beginning and has the perfect mix of local and industry expertise to lead our expansion into the Mesa area.”

Philbin joined Alerus in 2009 and has served as a relationship manager based at its Scottsdale, Arizona, location for nearly 10 years. As part of his new role, he will relocate to the new Alerus Financial Services Center at 1640 South Stapley Dr, Suite 105 in Mesa, which is expected to open by July 15, 2018. Philbin will lead the growth of that location to include adding new financial professionals who will provide relationship banking for businesses and consumers as well as mortgage, retirement and wealth management services for clients.

Philbin specializes in working with business clients to learn about their operations and find ways to help them achieve their goals. He holds a political science degree from the University of Arizona and is an active member of the Executive Council 70 and Junior Achievement of Arizona.
