Gleason Austin Group named among MN Housing’s 2023 Top Loan Producers

Alerus is pleased to recognize mortgage banker Bob Austin, as part of the Gleason Austin Group, as one of Minnesota Housing’s top loan producers in 2023.

Minnesota Housing is the state’s housing finance agency and focuses on providing access to safe and affordable housing. In 2023, Minnesota Housing’s participating lenders provided nearly 4,900 home mortgage loans for almost $1.15 billion statewide, with 40% of first-time homebuyer mortgages serving Black homeowners, Indigenous homeowners, and homeowners of color.

Austin and his partner, Pat Gleason, have provided expert mortgage lending services to clients of all income levels for more than 40 years combined. They have extensive expertise assisting clients seeking affordable housing or down payment assistance. This is the fourth consecutive year and sixth time the Gleason Austin Group has been recognized among Minnesota Housing’s top producers.
