Setting up your mobile wallet to use in-app and online is simple:

  • Add your Alerus credit or debit cards to your mobile device.
  • To pay, use touch ID or facial recognition and hold your mobile device near the mobile wallet reader at checkout.
  • You can quickly view any transaction and card activity using the Alerus Mobile Banking app or CardValet app.
  • After you’ve added your Alerus card, you can also use it through your mobile wallet account to pay for online purchases through certain vendors. At checkout, you can select the appropriate mobile wallet as payment.

How does Apple Pay and Samsung Pay work?

How will I know if a payment was successful?

After completing a payment through Samsung Pay, a confirmation will appear on your device. With Apple Pay, a confirmation will appear in the wallet app on your iPhone.
