Angela Kazmierski
Director, SBA Lending
As director of SBA lending, Angela Kazmierski develops and manages U.S. Small Business Administration lending operations at Alerus. She leads the SBA-focused lending team, which collaborates with Alerus business advisors in all markets to provide SBA loan product services and works directly with small and mid-size businesses.
Angela joined Alerus in May 2021 and has more than 20 years of financial industry experience. She has specialized in SBA lending for more than 15 years, including SBA 504 lending, SBA microlending, and developing and implementing other SBA-related programs. She holds bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Superior and a master’s degree in business administration from Western Illinois University.
Angela is active in her community as a volunteer for local school and youth sports groups and provides her expertise to various economic development efforts. She is currently on the Technical Issues Board of Directors for NAGGL and has been a past board member for the Federal Home Loan Bank Community Investment Program, the New Markets Tax Credit Coalition, the Red Cliff Economic Revitalization Partnership, and the Wisconsin Community Development Legacy Fund. Angela and her husband live in Frederic, Wisconsin. They have three children.
