Brian Scott
Managing Director, Equipment Finance
As the managing director for the equipment finance team at Alerus, Brian Scott oversees the equipment finance team and guides underwriting and lending activities for clients across a range of industries. Under Brian’s leadership, the Phoenix-based equipment finance team collaborates with Alerus business advisors across all markets and works directly with clients to provide equipment financing that meets their unique needs.
Brian joined Alerus in June 2024, bringing more than 25 years of financial industry experience to his role. Before joining Alerus, Brian served as managing director of equipment finance at Western Alliance in Phoenix for over six years, where he oversaw equipment finance activities and led business relationship development. He previously served as vice president of finance and services at VasoHealthcare. He holds bachelor’s degrees in finance and marketing from the University of South Carolina.
In his free time, Brian enjoys sports and traveling. He and his wife Dayna live in Phoenix. They have two children.
