With more than 35 years in the banking industry, Charlene’s deep knowledge and attention to detail make her an excellent resource for customers. From beginning to end, Charlene works with customers to educate them about the entire mortgage process. “I often find most customers don’t know how their mortgage payment is calculated or what it entails. My goal is to explain everything and avoid any future surprises,” she says. Charlene joined Alerus in 1987 and began working as a mortgage specialist in 1997. She received a business administration degree from Moorhead State University and is a member of the Fargo-Moorhead Board of Realtors.
In her free time, Charlene enjoys reading, walking, crocheting, attending her grandkids activities, and volunteering for various projects at her church. She has four children and lives in Casselton, N.D with her husband Kevin.
