Chris Wolf
Northern Valley Market President
Chris Wolf joined Alerus in January 2010 and has 30 years of experience in the financial industry. His career includes positions as an auditor, manager, commercial underwriter, controller, chief financial officer, and market president.
Chris has spent nearly his entire career in Grand Forks, North Dakota, and has built a deep understanding of the region’s business climate. He currently serves as market president for the northern valley, where he leads commercial banking and business development efforts, as well as oversees the agriculture segment companywide. Chris works closely with clients and his team to tailor solutions for each client to achieve their financial goals.
Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of North Dakota. He is a certified public accountant and is a member of the North Dakota Society of CPAs. He serves on the board of directors for the Grand Forks Economic Development Corporation and is a member of the advisory and growth fund committees. He is a past chairman and board member of the Chamber of Commerce Grand Forks/East Grand Forks and a past board member of The Community Foundation of Grand Forks, East Grand Forks, and Region.
A native of Grand Forks, Chris lives there with his wife, Holly. He has four children.
