Clayton joined Alerus in September 2022, bringing more than 10 years of financial services industry experience, focusing on investment management, financial planning, and advisory services. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from California State University, Chico, a master’s degree in business administration from the Keller Graduate School of Management, and a professional certificate in financial planning from Bryant University. He is licensed for accident and health insurance, variable life insurance and variable annuities in Minnesota. Clayton is actively pursuing his CFP® certification.
In his free time, Clayton enjoys skiing, boating, playing golf, working on cars, and spending time with his family. He and his wife Brittany have one son and live in Shoreview, Minnesota.
