Daniel Littlefield
Senior Credit Officer, Equipment Finance
As a senior credit officer specializing in equipment finance, Daniel Littlefield is responsible for the underwriting and portfolio management of Alerus’ equipment finance division. His duties include developing and implementing credit policies, guiding newly originated loan and lease transactions through the approval process, and monitoring existing accounts.
Daniel joined Alerus in June 2024, bringing over 20 years of experience in the financial industry and extensive expertise in portfolio management and underwriting. Before joining Alerus, he worked for six years at Western Alliance Bank in Phoenix, serving most recently as senior credit officer for commercial equipment finance. He previously served as a senior underwriter for STORE Capital in Scottsdale, Arizona. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from California State Polytechnic University, Humboldt in Arcata, California, and a master’s degree in finance from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama. A former collegiate soccer player, he currently serves as a member and treasurer of the Arizona Soccer Association, a nonprofit organization focused on a providing a platform for Arizona youth to participate in the sport.
In his free time, Daniel enjoys outdoor activities including mountain biking, hiking, camping, and of course, soccer. He and his wife Michelle have one son. They live in Phoenix.
