Doug Melby has over 20 years of experience in employer retirement plans, wealth management, and investment strategy. Doug is motivated by helping people achieve their financial goals and he values building professional relationships, so people feel comfortable exploring their options.

Doug serves corporate and small business clients in both the Grand Forks and Fargo regions. His experience, knowledge, and skill help employers with their retirement, benefits, and banking needs.

Doug earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, where he studied political science and economics. He attended graduate school at the University of North Dakota, where he studied public administration. Doug is Chartered Financial Analyst holder and a Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA).

Active in his community, Doug has served on the board of the Hillsboro (North Dakota) Medical Center and is a member of the KEM Shrine in Grand Forks. He is a past board member and chairman of the Traill County Economic Development Commission and has served on the Small Business and Labor Advisory Board of the Minneapolis Federal Reserve Bank.

A North Dakota native, Doug now lives in Hillsboro. In his free time, he enjoys bicycling, Cross Fit, and house projects.
