Jay joined Alerus in 2013 and is responsible for developing, managing, and building loyal customer relationships. Jay has more than 25 years of experience in the banking industry, serving in a variety of roles during that time, including commercial lender, portfolio manager, credit analyst, and bank management.

Jay was born in New Jersey and moved to Arizona in 1969. He earned his MBA from the University of Phoenix. Jay and his wife have seven children and he enjoys being actively involved with family, church, work, and music. Jay performs regularly in a country/rock band as drummer on weekends. Jay’s personal slogan is “banker by day, rocker by night!”
