Katie Peterson joined Alerus in 2023 and is based in the Scottsdale office. As a senior commercial real estate lending advisor, she works closely with commercial real estate owners and developers primarily in the Phoenix metro to provide creative and flexible financing solutions to bring their projects to a successful conclusion.
Katie has nearly 15 years of financial industry experience, with significant expertise in commercial lending. Before joining Alerus, she served as commercial banking group manager at First Interstate in Scottsdale, where she led a team of CRE lenders serving owners and developers in the Phoenix metro. She previously served as a commercial lending manager at Stearns Bank in Scottsdale, specializing in CRE lending. Katie holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Bemidji (Minnesota) State University.
