As an assistant portfolio manager, Kristin Thorson works closely with the investment and fiduciary services team to manage client accounts, maintain compliance with investment models, execute appropriate trades, and ensure investment objectives are met.
Kristin joined Alerus in 1998 as a financial service representative. She later served as a trust operations specialist before moving to the assistant portfolio manager role.
Kristin holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of North Dakota. She lives near Grand Forks, North Dakota, with her husband, Ross.
