Matt Fisher joined Alerus in 2018, bringing with him more than 20 years of experience in the retirement plan industry. Matt’s emphasis on listening, understanding, and responding to client needs has enabled him to become a trusted advisor to a large network of plan sponsors, financial advisors, and third-party administrators.
As a retirement sales consultant covering the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions, Matt is responsible for new business development with existing clients and fostering collaborative relationships with financial advisors. His extensive knowledge and experience in the retirement industry allows him to consult with organizations and investment professionals to provide retirement plan solutions.
Matt earned his bachelor’s degree from Drexel University and resides in Downingtown, PA, with his wife, Jessica, three teenage children, and one rescue dog named Everest. In his free time, Matt enjoys attending his children’s school activities, hockey games, swim meets, and soccer games. He also enjoys vacations with friends, gardening, home brewing, and volunteering at the local food pantry. Matt is an Eagle Scout (Troop 802, Aberdeen, MD. Vigil Honor – Order of the Arrow, Nentico Lodge).
