Michael Ryan
Operations Manager, Equipment Finance
Mike Ryan serves as operations manager for equipment finance at Alerus. In this role, he oversees daily operations for the equipment finance team, develops and implements operational procedures, and coordinates with teams throughout Alerus to ensure efficient workflows and client service.
Mike joined Alerus in June 2024, bringing more than 20 years of experience in the financial industry. Before joining Alerus, he spent five years working at Western Alliance in Phoenix, where he specialized in equipment finance and served most recently as loan operations director for several business lines. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
In his free time, Mike is a dedicated hiking and golf enthusiast. He also enjoys traveling and attending all types of sporting events. He has one son and lives in Phoenix.
