Miranda Myers
Director of Retail Banking
As the director of retail banking, Miranda Myers is responsible for all retail bank offerings, including deposits, consumer lending, teller line services, branch services, and security. She leads the implementation of deposits-related initiatives throughout the company, identifies trends, and evaluates the risk and potential of new technologies, with a focus on providing a high level of client service to meet their evolving needs.
Miranda’s career in the financial industry began when she joined Alerus as a teller in 2006. She has served in various roles including customer service supervisor, retail trainer, and branch services specialist. Before becoming retail banking director, she served as branch services manager, where she was responsible for consumer deposit product management, in-branch systems, client onboarding technology, and in-branch client behavior data. Miranda holds a bachelor’s degree in English and mass communication from Minnesota State University Moorhead. She is an active member of Fiserv’s Signature user group and has earned best practice recognition from the group.
In her free time, Miranda is an avid reader and enjoys playing tennis, playing the piano, and cooking. She lives in Fargo with her husband Jared and their two children.
