Pam Johnson
Financial Advisor
Pam Johnson joined Alerus in August 2018 after a 17-year hiatus from the financial industry.
After graduating from the University of North Dakota in 1989 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Pam began her career at West Fargo State Bank as a loan accountant. When the bank was purchased by First National Bank North Dakota (later to become Alerus), she moved into the role of credit analyst and eventually became a credit underwriter in the commercial and agricultural lending division of the bank. In 2001, Pam “retired” from her banking career to raise her two children, Lucas and Cassandra.
After her children moved on to college, Pam resumed her career in finance and re-joined Alerus as a wealth management advisor. In this role, she assists senior financial advisors with meeting the needs and goals of their clients. She also works with clients directly to help them meet their financial and retirement planning goals.
Pam is a member of Fargo Rotary and Red River Valley Estate Planning Council. She is licensed for accident, health, life, and annuities insurance. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, skiing, hiking, and spending time with family and friends. Pam lives in Moorhead, Minnesota, with her husband, Mark.
