Pat joined Alerus in 2010 and has over 35 years of experience in the industry. Pat’s rigorous attention to detail and calm demeanor has provided comfort to clients as they complete the home financing process. “Whether a client is buying their very first home and needs guidance every step of the way, or is financing their tenth home and simply needs to work with someone who is up-to-date on industry changes, I am here to help,” she says.
Since 2011, Pat has partnered with mortgage banker Bob Austin; together they ensure clients can always get answers quickly and that every detail is attended to. Pat and Bob have earned an exceptional reputation in the real estate community, which means Pat’s approval letters have tremendous credence. Pat has worked with clients of all income levels, but she has developed a niche working with clients who are seeking affordable housing and may need down payment assistance. She also has experience with community land trusts and loans for condominiums.
Pat holds a master’s degree in management from Cardinal-Stritch University. She holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology/English and a graduate housing studies certificate from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities.
Pat comes from a family of nine children, which includes her twin, Steve, and triplet siblings. Pat has been married for over 35 years and lives in South Minneapolis. When she is not attending to clients’ needs, she can be found reading, traveling, or spending time with her two grown children or four grandsons.
