Shane joined Alerus in 2018, bringing over 20 years of commercial banking experience. Over the course of his career, he has gained extensive experience working with many different companies across various industries, advising on commercial financing structures, real estate investments, M&A and succession planning.
As a senior business advisor, he leads teams of internal and external experts to provide insight and solutions to his clients. He enjoys understanding each individual businesses needs and strategies, and working to help them achieve their goals and connecting them with industry experts.
Shane has lived and worked in the Twin Cities for his entire career and has a strong understanding of the local market. When he is not at work, he spends time with his family and friends, enjoying the outdoors, traveling, and house projects.
