She is also passionate about helping employees understand their retirement plan benefits and helps guide them along the way to create successful outcomes.
Tonia joined Alerus in 2016 and has over 15 years of experience in retirement and benefits. Her expertise has made her a trusted partner for clients, who benefit from the guidance she can provide related to the complex and evolving retirement services industry.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in human resources and organizational leadership from Rasmussen University and is a qualified 401(k) administrator. Tonia and her husband, Darin, live in Albert Lea, Minnesota, with their two children. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
