On August 14, 2024, we will transition from CheckFree RXP to CheckFree Next. This new, fully responsive, mobile-first solution will offer a more intuitive and engaging way to manage your bill payments across all your devices.

What’s New with CheckFree Next:

  • Enhanced Bill Management: eBills and Reminders will be in the Unpaid Bills section. Other billers will be in the My Billers section.
  • Improved Navigation: A new search feature will help locate specific billers quickly.
  • Seamless Transition: Your payment activity and recurring payment settings will remain unchanged.
  • Accessibility Enhancements: Improved user interface for better accessibility.

We have made every effort to ensure this upgrade is seamless and straightforward. You can expect the same level of service and reliability, with enhanced features to improve your overall experience.

What is the CheckFree Next solution?

CheckFree Next is the next-generation Bill Pay platform that delivers a simple, intuitive, and engaging Bill Pay experience within the digital banking channel. The hosted and API solutions provide flexible deployment and implementation options and empower you to serve your users better on all devices.

If I am a current Bill Pay user, what information will transfer over to CheckFree after the migration?

If you are currently enrolled in Bill Pay, you will be automatically enrolled in CheckFree Bill Pay. Your internal funding accounts, payees, future scheduled payments, and Bill Payment history will convert over.

Can I select or assign a Category to a Biller?

In CheckFree Next, new custom categories cannot be created and billers cannot be assigned
to a custom category. Billers are assigned automatically to predefined categories when they are added.

Can I download Bill Pay history?

Yes, you will have that option on the “Activity tab” in CheckFree Next.

Is the “Add a Note” field the same as “Add a Memo?”

No. The “Add a Memo” field is for capturing text to be included in the memo section of a
physical check to be delivered to the biller. The “Add a Note” feature enables you to capture text for your reference.
